The Tenors Concert – How I Won My Way In!

During November of last year I got to go to The Tenors concert as part of their Christmas Together tour. It was an amazing night, plus I didn’t even have to spend a dime!

Who Are The Tenors?

For those of you who are not familiar with The Tenors, they are an operatic pop vocalist group from Canada. The group consists of three members, Victor Micallef, Fraser Walters, and Clifton Murray.

I actually didn’t know them too well before winning the concert. I knew that they would be singing Christmas songs though, and I’m obsessed with Christmas so I went all in.

My Night + An Awesome Surprise

I had such an amazing night. I showed up to the venue and went to the box office because I was informed that was where my tickets would be. Gave them my name, they gave me my tickets.

Plus though, they also gave me two meet and greet passes! I freaked out, I had no clue that I also won a meet and greet.

The show was great, I totally became a fangirl during it. Then afterwards got to meet them and get a photo with them. They were really nice, genuine type guys. I’m sure other people who know them or have met them can vouch for that as well.

I felt like I was on cloud 9 all night!

How I Did It

I got to enjoy such a great night all thanks to Tunespeak! I entered one of their contests to win two tickets, and chose the nearest city to me.

Lucky for me, there wasn’t much competition. Like out of all the entries for my city, probably about a third of them were mine, so I had good odds. Anyways, I’m so happy that I got to experience what I did all for free!

If you want the chance to experience a concert like I did or win various merch, you should check out my post all about Tunespeak. It is absolutely positively one of my favourite sites!

Have you ever won concert tickets? Who have you gotten to meet? If you have any other questions or comments about my post, I would love to hear from you below! And if you choose to try out Tunespeak yourself, I wish you luck!

Cheers,

Calista 🙂

  1. Wow, this sounds interesting. I can see you really had a nice experience at the Tenors concert and I will really want to have such a nice experience. I love music and I play instruments so it would really be a of a great pleasure to win tickets to a concert as I will be able to learn new things concerning music.

  2. It sounds like you had a wonderful, magical evening at the tenor’s concert, and the cherry on the top is that you did it for free. Getting the backstage passes was a bonus and having the chance to meet, talk with, and get pictures with the artists really added to the evening, I am sure.

The point that you emphasized not too much was the Tunespeak service that you won the concert tickets through. That made me curious (never heard of them), since I would love to win such a prize (I am not lucky in contests) and it sounds like I could load the decks (kidding)!

In any case, thanks for sharing with us all your experiences, and the bubbly happiness of your evening came through bright and clear with your writing style. I love the three tenors concerts, starting long ago…I never met Pavarotti personally, but I have eaten in some restaurants where he used to frequent in Italy (in the hope he would pop in, truth be told).

    1. I truly did have an awesome evening! Oh yes, I saved the majority of talking about Tunespeak to one of my other posts, which you can check out here. Awe thank you! I’m happy to hear my excitement showed through my writing 🙂 Also glad to hear you love the three Tenors.
